Tuesday's video has been a tutorial of some sort and this week's tutorial was how to do the cluster stitch in the round, it is a super easy stitch and can be used in a lot of different patterns, it will also be featured in my up-and-coming pattern.

But to go along with the video tutorial I also wanted to do a written tutorial as well,

Supplies:

Worsted weight yarn (KnitPicks is currently having a sale!)

Hook to match weight of yarn.

Stitches:

Ch - Chain

Slst - Slip Stitch

Sk - Skip

Dc2tog - Double Crochet 2 Together

Dc3tog - Double Crochet 3 Together

Special Stitches:

Dc2tog - Yarn over, insert hook into designated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, leave remaining loops on hook, yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through remaining loops on hook.

Dc3tog - Yarn over, insert hook into designated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, leave remaining loops on hook, yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops* repeat * to * once, yarn over, pull through remaining loops on hook.

Stitch Multiple:

2

Pattern:

Chain any multiple of 2

slst into 1st ch to form a ring making sure to not twist your chain.

R1: Ch 3, dc2tog into the same ch you slst into to form the ring, *ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc3tog into next chain* repeat from * to * around, ch 1, slst to top of dc2tog at beginning of round.

R2: slst into ch 1 space, ch 3, dc2tog in same ch 1 space, *ch 1, sk cluster from previous round, dc3tog in next ch 1 space* rep from * to * around, ch 1, slst to top of dc2tog at beginning of round.

Repeat R2 until the piece is your desired height.
